REGENERATIVE AESTHETICS

Regenerative medicine is the application of treatments that heal and replace damaged tissues. When used in aesthetics, various biochemical techniques can be employed to regenerate tissues damaged either by injury, or most commonly, by the aging process.

Polynucleotides

Polynucleotides are highly-purified DNA molecules extracted from fish. When injected into the skin they target the fibroblast cells (the cells responsible for the formation of connective tissue through the production of collagen), leading to firmer, smoother and more radiant skin.

They have been shown to stimulate cell proliferation, synthesise hyaluronic acid, induce angiogenesis (the formation of new blood vessels), inhibit melanogenesis (reduce pigmentation) and exert an anti-inflammatory effect.

Polynucleotides are great solutions if you wish to enhance skin quality, address lines and wrinkles, dark circles, dullness, poor texture, hyperpigmentation and scarring. They can be used as a stand-alone course of treatments, or alongside other aesthetic procedures to enhance results.

A course of 3-4 treatments is recommended, spaced at 3 weeks apart. Results begin to show approximately 3 weeks after your first treatment and will continue for 6-9 months. Maintenance treatments are recommended every 3-6 months, depending on skin quality and lifestyle.

Exosomes

Exosomes are nano vesicles that carry a cell specific cocktail of lipids, nucleic acids and proteins such as cytokines and growth factors. Exosomes facilitate intracellular communication thus playing an important role in delaying the aging process and remodelling the extracellular matrix.

Purasomes are a combination of 20 billion exosomes in their purest form, combined with 20 growth factors, derived from bovine colostrum. They are capable of resetting cellular activity and enhancing cellular regeneration to its highest performance level.

We offer 2 complexes from the Purasomes range at Kaya:

Skin Nutri Complex NC150+ Designed to recharge tired skin by reprogramming and amplifying cellular performance to that of a younger age.

  • Works on mature, dry, distressed, and chronological or photo damaged skin by drastically amplifying cellular performance. Improves the healing process and accelerates cellular renewal.

  • Repairs the deepest layers of the skin, supports collagen formation, maintains skin firmness and elasticity by increasing the density of the dermis.

  • Deeply nourishing and replenishing. Actively moisturises the skin with hyaluronic acid.

  • Enhances cellular protection by reducing the production of harmful free radicals.

  • Promotes angiogenesis (formation of new blood vessels) and new tissue formation, allowing the skin to become better oxygenated, healthy and bright.

  • Improves skin quality, creates long term resilient skin, promotes firmer skin with more defined contours.

Skin Glow complex SGC100+ contains brightening agents and major antioxidants to rebuild a flawless complexion.

  • Decreases pigment formation by inhibiting melano-synthesis and melano-transport.

  • Revitalising, giving radiant, vibrant skin.

  • Creates a long-lasting protective barrier and a strong antioxidant effect against sun radiation.

Exosomes are delivered into the skin via a microneedling pen device. 4-6 treatments are recommended, between 2-4 weeks apart depending on the depth of microneedling. Results are usually visible from the second session.

Profhilo

Profhilo is not strictly classed within regenerative medicine but stands as a bio-regenerative treatment utilising hyaluronic acid at its best. It is ultra-pure, biocompatible, 100% free of chemical stabilising agents and contains one of the highest concentrations of hyaluronic acid around, delivering prolonged efficacy without cross-linking (therefore does not add unwanted volume).

Profhilo is indicated for tissue remodelling and improvement in skin laxity. It promotes the restoration of firmness, tone and elasticity whilst restoring levels of hyaluronic acid found naturally within the skin, thus improving hydration with an immediate tightening effect. In addition, Profhilo promotes the normal vitality of fibroblasts (the cells responsible for the production of collagen, elastin and hyaluronic acid), keratinocytes (skin cells) and Adipocytes (fat cells).

2-3 treatments are recommended spaced at 1 month apart with a maintenance treatment approximately every 3-6 months depending on skin quality and lifestyle.

Cost per treatment

£300 for face or neck

£550 for face and neck

Side effects and aftercare for all regenerative treatments:

As with any injectable treatment, expect your skin to be slightly red and swollen immediately after treatment, this may persist for a few hours up to a few days. There may be pin-prick bleeding, bruising and itchiness. Please contact Claire on the number you have been provided with if these continue or other reactions occur.

It is important to avoid touching the area for at least 12 hours following your treatment. After this the area can be washed with a gentle cleanser and make up applied.

Until the initial swelling and redness have resolved do not expose the area to extreme heat (sauna, sunbathing), or extreme cold.

Avoid strenuous exercise, swimming for a minimum of 24 hours and until redness and swelling has resolved.

Avoid alcohol for 24 hours before and after treatment.
